About Caiden

Growing up in Northern Colorado, my exposure to mountain streams and lakes were endless. I cut my teeth fishing on the North Platte river and alpine lakes for trout. When I wasn't on a river or in the mountains, people could find me at a smallmouth bass lake. 

While attending Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado I had the opportunity to start guiding for Rio Grande Angler in Creede, Colorado during the summers. After finishing school I started guiding full time on the Rio Grande From April-September and then shifted gears to guide for Rio Epic Outfitter and Optimistic Outfitter through the winter months. 

It’s safe to say that I spend more days creating friendships and guiding on the water than not. My 16’ Clackacraft drift boat is the best office I have had. My real passion is showing others how special the outdoors are and trying to help everyone create an experience on the river that is unforgettable.
