Cut Bank Outfitters was started to provide guests with the fishiest, most professional guides in Southwest Colorado.

It’s much more than just a business. Our guides have dedicated their lives to understanding the when, where, how, and why to successful days on the water. With over five different sections of water in two states, Cut Bank Outfitters will make sure guests are at the right place at the right time. Above all else, our guests leave the day knowing they made a friend for life with our guides.

Family Owned & Operated

We are a 365 day a year outfitter that spends our time on the San Juan and Animas Rivers. We offer trips for anglers looking to spend a full week fishing or those who want to squeeze in a quick one day adventure.

We pride ourselves on being the outfitter that transitions beginner anglers into lifelong enthusiasts. Veteran anglers who have spent their life holding a rod and reel? Not a problem. Our guides will take any skill level to the next level and ensure you have one of those unforgettable days on the water.

The Rivers We Call Home

The Animas River section we primarily guide is the valley float. It offers incredible scenery and excellent sight fishing opportunities with hard fighting trout. The San Juan River is a true 365 day trout factory. Our guides float this river year round and we have more than 15 miles of incredible water to choose from.

Both rivers are perfect for anglers of all skill levels and consistently produce fish that will make the memory book.

The heart of Cut Bank Outfitters is our team of experienced guides. Each guide brings years of knowledge, passion for the water, and a dedication to making every trip unforgettable.

	Caiden Boyt Owner / Guide I grew up in Northern Colorado and fishing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have spent the last decade in a drift boat helping others catch fish and create unforgettable memories. I started Cut Bank Outfitters with my wife Nico, and together we strive to build a guide service people can’t get enough of.
	Dallas Beal Guide Originally from Valdosta, Georgia, I grew up chasing bass and redfish before moving to Colorado in 2017 to pursue the incredible hunting and fishing opportunities here. The rivers quickly captured my attention and guiding became a passion. When I’m not on the water, you’ll find me scouting elk and deer or exploring Colorado’s mountain peaks.
	Evan Claassen Guide I’ve been fly fishing Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado since the late 90s and guiding the region for more than ten years. My favorite place to be is in the boat hunting big, smart fish. Outside of fishing I enjoy traveling and adventuring with my wife, our dog Shiner, and our cat Moon.
